HISTORY

Beginning of ELDOS Co. Ltd dates back to 1989. In Wrocław, at the industrial hall, the place where ELDOS factory is now located, a Department of Printed Circuits was created. At that foundation, in September 1991, an ELSDRUK company was established. Independently, ELEKTRIM, Warsaw, establishes ELDOS Company. Both companies are intended to manufacture printed circuit boards.

Within 1991 -1993, under the technical supervision of specialists from FUBA, Germany, one of the biggest PCB manufacturers in Europe, takes place the installation and start up of the factory, as it is now.

In June 1993, after merger of the two companies, ELDOS Ltd begins its operation at the current location with the 48 person staff.

Thanks to its active marketing policy, soon ELDOS locates itself at a good position among PCB manufacturers in Poland and captures a big share in the electronics manufacturer market, and telecommunication equipment in particular.

Essential changes in the proprietor structure took place with the beginning of year 2000. Through the MBO operation the present Board of Directors purchased from Warsaw Equity Holding 98 % of the initial capital of ELDOS, in equal shares.

The proprietary changes made no effect on the relations with our customers and suppliers - the factory is operating as it did before. We continue our efforts aimed at strengthening and widening our position at the Polish and European Printed Circuit Boards markets.

Basic equipment installed at the factory start up is continuously replaced with new lines and devices in order to adjust our production capacities to the growing market expectations.

Our frequent contacts with leading German PCB suppliers indicate us current trends in technology and inspire us for implementation of new processes and organisational measures, especially in a production.

We are proud that printed circuit boards manufactured in ELDOS Ltd became part of advanced electronics assembled by our customers operating in the sectors of telecommunication (including car audio sets), industrial automation, cash registers, special microwave devices and even scientific equipment installed on board of satellites for Sun physics investigation. Huge volumes of electronics populated boards have been placed in lighting control circuits installed on board of numerous street vehicles and ships travelling throughout Europe and around the World. Automotive industry utilises subassemblies based on ELDOS-made boards for equipping cars and trailers. Medical equipment in which our PCBs are located is used to protect health of patients both, at home and abroad.
